ZOOM ROOM
We're so happy you're here! Some of you are listening to or participating in the workshop, and some are stepping up just to be homework leaders or have a buddy. Some of you are experienced at leading homework groups and some are new to this part of working with others. Exciting either way! Thank you!
Below you'll find helpful guidelines and a sample format for running your small group or 1-on-1 sessions. If you have any questions or need support, don't hesitate to reach out. We'll be connecting people with you soon.
Choose your day and time. Pick whatever works best for your schedule. We want this to be as easy as possible for you.
Meet weekly for 60 to 90 minutes with your group/buddy.
Host on Skype, FaceTime, WhatsApp, Zoom, or phone. Anyone can get a free Zoom account, but free meetings are limited to 40 minutes.
The purpose is for everyone to share their experience with that week's Big Book transcription, and especially their answers to the question guide.
A few things to keep in mind:
We encourage you to avoid yes/no answers.
We never tell anyone what to believe. We ask what their experience is in relation to the Big Book and the questions.
Depending on group size, there may not be time for everyone to answer every question each week. Pick a few questions and make sure the most important points are covered.
Make sure everyone gets a chance to participate and ask questions.
Our co-leaders are available for questions, extra guidance, or help. We honor each of you.
Open with the Set Aside Prayer

Any questions about the homework assignment?
Go around the room one question at a time (or take turns if you are with a buddy), hearing each person's answers. Share from your own experience. We're not here to change anyone's mind. We're not trying to convince anyone; let the book and God do that.
If you have time read the section of the Big Book, with transcriptions.
Close with the 7th Step Prayer
